At the Breastfeeding CenteR of Orange County we are proud to offer this breastfeeding class to expecting parents along with a support person! We know how scary it can feel expecting a new baby and we have created this class to help you feel at ease and more prepared for you to reach your feeding goals.

Breastfeeding 101 is about 2 1/2 hours long held at The Breastfeeding Center of Orange County.

CLASS FEE: $89 per duo

Frequently Asked Questions about our Prenatal Breastfeeding 101 Class:

Do I need to enroll my partner as well?

All registrations include the expecting parent and one support person! You do not need to do anything extra to enroll your partner or support person. We are so glad they are joining!

Can I use my insurance benefits for this class?

YES! We will gladly provide a superbill receipt once you have completed our class. You can use this superbill receipt to file a reimbursement claim directly with your insurance provider.

I see you offer Breastfeeding 101 and Private Prenatal Consultations. Whats the difference? Do I need both?

Our Breastfeeding 101 class is a 2.5 hour comprehensive breastfeeding class covering milk supply, latching, feeding frequencies, how to know baby is getting enough milk and more! We cover all the basics we feel you need to know to get breastfeeding established in the first 1-2 weeks (and beyond!).

Our private prenatal consultations are 60 minutes are are great to get some information along with asking specific questions, reviewing your pump settings and even a flange fitting!

Many families choose to do BOTH our Breastfeeding 101 class followed by a private prenatal consultation. Whichever you choose we are sure you will feel better prepared for your little one’s arrival.

When is the best time during my pregnancy to take a prenatal breastfeeding class?

We recommend taking this class around 28-36 weeks of your pregnancy.

 

Insurance Coverage Available

You may request a superbill receipt for your class fee. You may submit a superbill receipt to your insurance directly to request a reimbursement claim. We cannot promise any type of reimbursement.
